What is MockMaster?


MockMaster is an AI-powered mock interview simulator. You provide a job description or role details, and the App generates realistic interview questions for you to answer out loud. After your session, you receive a scored result card with strengths, areas of improvement, mistakes, and actionable tips.



How do I start a mock interview?


Open the App and tap Start Interview on the home screen. Fill in the job description or role information on the next screen and tap Generate Questions. The App will create a set of tailored interview questions. Each question will play as audio. Speak your answer out loud when prompted and the App will record and transcribe it in real time. After completing all questions, tap Generate Result Card to receive your AI evaluation.



What do I get with the 3-interview pack?


The 3-interview pack, available for a one-time payment of $4.99, gives you access to 3 complete mock interview sessions. Each session is counted when you initiate question generation. Your sessions do not expire and remain available until you use them.



What does Lifetime Access include?


The Lifetime Access purchase, available for a one-time payment of $29.99, gives you unlimited mock interview sessions for the lifetime of the App. There are no session caps, no expiry dates, and no recurring charges.



How do I restore my purchase on a new device?


If you reinstall the App or switch to a new device, you can restore your previous purchases through the App. Look for the Restore Purchases option in the App settings or purchase screen. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.



Why is the App asking for microphone permission?


MockMaster needs microphone access to record your spoken answers during interview sessions. Without this permission, voice recording will not work. You can grant microphone access through your device settings at any time. The App only uses the microphone when you are actively in an interview session.



My microphone is not working. What should I do?


First, make sure you have granted microphone permission to MockMaster in your device settings. On iOS, go to Settings, scroll to MockMaster, and enable Microphone. On Android, go to Settings, then Apps, then MockMaster, then Permissions, and enable Microphone. If permission is already granted, try closing and reopening the App. If the issue persists, please contact us.



The App is not generating questions. What should I do?


Question generation requires an active internet connection. Please check that your device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data. If your connection is working and the issue continues, the AI backend may be temporarily unavailable. Wait a few minutes and try again. If the problem persists, contact us with a description of the issue.



Can I practice without an internet connection?


You can review your saved interview history and past result cards without an internet connection. However, generating new interview questions and receiving AI-scored result cards requires an active internet connection, as these features rely on our AI backend.



Where is my interview history stored?


All your interview sessions, including questions, transcribed answers, result cards, scores, and timestamps, are stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to any server. If you delete the App or clear its data through your device settings, your history will be permanently deleted.



How do I delete my data?


Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it by clearing the App's storage through your device settings or by uninstalling the App. On iOS, go to Settings, General, iPhone Storage, find MockMaster, and select Delete App. On Android, go to Settings, Apps, MockMaster, and select Clear Data or uninstall the App.



I was charged but my sessions are not showing. What should I do?


Please use the Restore Purchases option in the App first, as this will sync your purchase with the App. If the issue is not resolved, contact us at umairali2k181@gmail.com with your order confirmation or receipt from Apple or Google so we can investigate further.



How do I request a refund?


Refunds are handled by Apple or Google depending on where you made your purchase. To request a refund on iOS, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the MockMaster purchase. On Android, open the Google Play Store, go to your order history, and request a refund through Google Play. We are unable to process refunds directly, but we are happy to assist you with any questions before you submit a refund request.



The AI feedback does not seem accurate. Is that normal?


AI-generated feedback is based on your transcribed answers and the job description you provided. Results can vary depending on how clearly you speak, the quality of your microphone, the detail of your job description, and the nature of your answers. The feedback is intended as a practice guide and general reference, not a definitive professional evaluation. We recommend using it alongside other preparation methods.



I found a bug. How do I report it?


Please email us at umairali2k181@gmail.com with the subject line Bug Report. Include a description of what happened, the steps to reproduce the issue, your device model, and your operating system version. Screenshots or screen recordings are helpful if you can provide them.
